Bret A. Bologna, DDS

Dr. Bret A Bologna grew up in Michigan City, Indiana where he attended grade school and high school playing sports and being involved in many clubs and organizations. It was during those early days he developed a love for baseball and specifically for the Chicago Cubs. He transplanted to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend Marian College (which is now Marian University) where he attained Magna Cum Laude distinction in the field of Biology.  He stayed in Indianapolis to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry where he was the President of his Dental School class.

Dr. Bologna and his wife, Katie, decided together to move back to “The Region” to live their adult lives and for Bret to establish his practice life.  After short stints as an associate dentist, Dr. Bologna was able to find the right practice and the right place to put down roots in Crown Point, Indiana.

Fast forward 21 years and Dr. Bologna and Katie have two sons, Jackson and Everett, a wonderful home and home town, and a beautiful dental practice.  Jackson recently graduated Cum Laude from Crown Point High School and is headed to Wabash College to study Financial Economics and continue to perform in the Glee Club at Wabash.  Everett is a Junior at CPHS and was recently elected to the Treasurer position for the Student Council.  Being proud parents is a great job to have and Dr. Bologna and Katie love to be there to watch their boys grow into men.

Dr. Bologna loves to do his job being responsible for the dental care and needs of all of these great people.  He shows this love by really dedicating his time, effort and energy in every appointment.  It is further shown in the level of technology that is constantly being brought into Distinctive Dental Solutions for the benefit of the patient base and potential new patients.  Dr. Bologna is fully invested in continuing to improve his skill set and the abilities of his staff through the implementation of this technology and a continuous dedication to ongoing education.  Dr. Bologna knows, though, that all the technology in the world is no good without focusing on the professional and personal relationships formed through trust and dedication to the needs of each individual.

Dr. Bologna has a great deal of interests outside of the office setting.  As mentioned above, he is an avid Cub fan.  He loves to golf in the summer time.  He is even an amateur sailing captain in both the Great Lakes and in the British Virgin Islands.  But, by far, his favorite thing to be is a husband and dad.
