Front Desk Department Head / Financial & Insurance Coordinator
Claire has been a member of the Distinctive Dental Solutions team since 2007, but she started her training for this position long before that. Claire studied Hospitality and Management at Purdue Calumet and during her time in college she maintained a job at the Radisson working weekends as a food runner and weekday mornings at The Radisson as a waitress serving the needs of the business, but even more important to her was serving the public. A professor recommended she move from what she was doing and move to the financial side of the hospitality business as it was where she showed a clear ability in the classroom. In true Claire fashion, she was able to transition to Night Audit for the Radisson balancing all accounts on a daily basis for that operation, but that was not enough… she took on the overnight shift at the front desk, so that late arriving travelers could have a friendly face to greet them even at any time of the night. She graduated and used all that experience to the banking industry where she started in data entry and she rose quickly to a key position in the Overdraft Honors Department of the bank.
She worked there until Dr. Bologna was able to wrestle her away for a position doing behind the scenes finances, insurance, and data entry, etc. for Distinctive Dental. In typical Claire fashion, she did not stand pat with only these responsibilities. She has become the front office face and entire department all in one. She is able to juggle all sorts of responsibilities on a daily basis with grace and amazing friendliness. She is a true expert in her job at DDS and she never rests on continuing to improve her abilities and the ability of the office to serve the needs of the patient in every situation.
Claire spends her free time with her close knit family. She loves camping, gardening, and all things outdoors when the outdoors are warm and friendly. She runs a personal cookie business and loves all things baking and cooking. She is a real dynamo and a true asset to Distinctive Dental Solutions.
